Chapman Dyer Incorporated started its life in 1909 as a law practice founded by Arthur Brett in Durban's Smith Street. After the First World War, he was joined by Major Gordon Wills MC to form Brett & Wills in 1909. This firm practiced successfully until it amalgamated with Chapman Dyer in 1974. We were further strenghtened in 1988 by the amalgamation with Miles and Moorehead and by the year 2010, had grown to our present level of 29 staff.

Our mission is to continue to provide a quality legal service being conscious of the challenges facing our clients in a fast-changing world.. We have served the people of KwaZulu-Natal for over a century and look forward to being of service for many more years to come. Please remember we are only a phonecall away.
